We were so inspired by their tireless service day after day. They were amazing!
Jen jumped in and helped in a drama during one of their Sidewalk Sunday Schools

Their eyes say so much

So many of them played with guns. It was really sad to see that at such a young age they knew so much about violence.

Their faith was amazing. Look at these numbers they are believing God for!

I just thought this was too funny!

This is the Smokey Mountains in Manila. It's a trash dump that people live at.

It was devastating to walk through this. Even worse, to watch kids walk through barefoot and search the trash for valuables.

They look for nails in the trash. When they collect 1 kilo of nails (2 lbs) they turn it in and get the equivalent of about $0.10! Can you imagine how long it would take to collect that many nails?

This woman really caught my eye. She was smiling and so happy and joyful! The people around her told me how old she was but said that she was just 16 at heart!

We were lucky enough to be there at the same time as these lovely ladies were. They were all American, but living in Singapore. They came to join up with Metro Ministries as well
