Christmas party at the orphanage

We also visited a Thai Government orphanage for Christmas. They are connected with the Ping Jai house that we worked with (the government home for pregnant rescued girls). They asked us if we'd like to bring Christmas to the orphans and of course we said YES!
They have 600 kids here, but we focused on the younger kids and got gifts for 60 of them in that age group.
It was crazy mayhem, but a Blast!

Jen handing out gifts =) She was Totally in her element!

A little boy trying to put everything in his hands

She was checkin' it out!

Going for the goods!

Jen helping him get his gifts out of the packaging

SCORE! I think he liked his truck!

He was eating this snack and taking the biggest bites ever! It was so funny!

I totally fell in love w/ this little girl! Here P Moo is talking to her on her new cellphone toy she got :)

He was too into his game to smile. It's that game where the air pushes up the little basketballs and you try to get them into the hoops. Man- I LOVE that game!

Someone was enjoying their snacks!

And enjoying Papa Klaus :)

Seriously- I wanted to take her home so bad! She had the sweetest smile and the sweetest personality to go along with it!

Anne and the Sticker Club Kids!

She was a little sticker monster!

Mai playing too!

Group shot with what kids we could get to stand still long enough to take a pic :)

Jen's Grandmother's church handmade these dolls for us to hand out here. We gave some to the Ping Jai house for the pregnant mothers.

Wow, what a fun but emotional day! Klaus tried to do a video monologue, but couldn't finish because he kept getting choked up with tears. It was awesome to see the kids getting gifts and having fun. It was tough though to know they are all orphans and that they don't get the love and attention that every child needs.
But I'm thankful that they have a Papa in Heaven that loves them each as His own! And I trust that He has a plan for their lives and I'm thankful that He let us be a part of it for Christmas this year!
