Celebrating with family back home!! Via Skype!!
So glad when I get to see my BFF Kimmy!!! Merry Christmas Kim!
Got to spend Christmas Eve w/ my family via the internet. I even got to play Dirty Santa and ended up w/ some lottery tickets!
And here are some of my nieces (minus one). Aren't they little dolls?!
This are a little out of order, but here is our Christmas in Thailand 2010!
We all stayed the night at Anne's so we could wake up Christmas morning together and have breakfast! Joy is the BEST cook in Thailand, so we got some amazing food! She's making french toast here.
Getting ready for breakfast
Grated potatoes for potato cakes! They were amazing!
Klaus cutting up apples for our French Toast apple/cinnamon topping!
Part of the spread. There was more that didnt fit on this table!
Jen and Gimee
Gimee looked like she was at a spa getting pampered! She is so funny!
Anne's favorite game. She was practicing so she could play on New Years at the fair and win a toy for Gimee (follow up on this story in the New Years post).
Sweet (when she wants to be) Gimee!
We had a yummy Thai dinner that Anne cooked! Not many people know she is a secretly great cook! We didnt get to eat till about 10:30- but it was still good!
Celebrating with our toys!
The Green Superhero & and Hat-boob bandit!
Super flying powers!
Danger better stay in bed tonight! Super Klaus is on patrol!
This is secretly a flame thrower!
Anne and her sidekick
Naam Waan and her sidekick
Good vs Good! Who will win?!
Jen and I were in charge of snacks. Those cookies went FAST!
Awww!
Listening to the carolers outside.
Caroling in Thailand: You turn off all your lights and then pretend you are asleep. Then they sing outside by candle light and when they are done you turn on all the lights and let them in. Then they sing more, you eat and play games and then they are off to their next house.
Singing once they are inside
Jen and Om together
Anne was SO into this game!! She "demonstrated" for a Reeeealy long time!
So that was our Christmas in a photolog nutshell!
Hard to imagine we've now had 2 Christmas's here! We are so thankful for our Thai family so that we can still enjoy this awesome Holiday without being too homesick!
