Jen and I had a Great, long conversation w/ Chris this weekend!! Chris is the "face" of Pure Heart International. Him and his wife, Terra, and their boys live in Thailand and run Pure Heart full time. He's coming to visit Jen and I in November (more on that soon!!)

He answered a lot of questions for us and really just gave us more of a vision for what we'll be doing with them.
Pure Heart IS based out of Thailand, and under the Thailand Hope Church. But God has been really growing their ministry and providing so many opportunities for them in other countries as well. They have gone into the Philippians already, and Burma/Myanmar. For protection, they cant go into Myanmar themselves, it would blow their cover, but they are able to provide for the underground churches that are there and support them.
They are also being asked to come to Africa to help with some things that are being done there. And where Jen and I fit into the picture is, as Chris said- I'm just one person. I need help!
Pure Heart is growing so fast but it's short on resources. That's (praise God) where Jen and I get to come in. We get to use our logistical gifts for trip planning and details . . . But then we will also get to use our other gifts- like hands on ministry, photography, video, evangelism, loving on children, teaching, leading trips, etc. And there is a lot of probability that we will get to do some traveling. Right now we are praying about how that will work out financially, as we are only going to be making enough at our jobs (teaching English more than likely) to basically live off of. It wont really cover any travel expenses.
Talking with Chris was really awesome! But it also got Jen and I thinking about even MORE details that we'd hadn't thought of before. Its very tempting to get lost in those and start to think "how is all this going to work out?? How will we raise enough support? How will all these millions of details fall into place??"
But through reading God's Word and being in prayer about ALL of the details- we are both reminded that God is bigger than all of those. In fact, God already has it all planned out! How cool is that?! To worry would be a total waste of time and energy. Jen and I just want to partner with God and do everything we can to stay right in the center of His Will for our lives.
More details will soon follow . . . But I wanted to post a little bit of our conversation because I feel like it was another step forward that we got to take on this Amazing journey (called LIFE!!).

i love you. you're the best best friend ever.(i missed you at my bday; sam gave me a card -and a gift- w/ pics of me and you on them b/c she knew you would have wanted to be there and she adores our friendship!! :) (how sweet is that!!?)
