Halloween is coming!

So, I know that some people don't like Halloween, but I can appreciate it for its less root-ful traits:

-Free Candy!
-Getting to dress up
-Getting to see other people dressed up
-Letting loose your creativity
-Decorations
-Pumpkin Carvings
-Free Candy!
-Halloween Parties
-Creepy soundtracks you get to play in a tape deck on your porch
-The weather/season
-Free Candy that lasts you almost till the next year, if you do it right
-Doggie costumes
-Dry ice and creepy body parts floating in green unidentifiable liquids
-Trading your free candy
-Pumpkin Pie
-Pumpkin Spice Lattes
-Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin
-80's movies about teenage witches that have really bad special effects and soundtracks
-Spending months planning your costume and then throwing together something at the last minute
-75% off candy sales After Halloween
-FREE CANDY!!

And pictures like these:

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

  1. I LOVE Halloween! Just to add to your list: Trick or Treating on Swiss Ave at dusk with the little kids. Annual Kids Movie Night in the backyard of House of Hasenbauer - inflatable movie screen showing "The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and episodes of "Casper". Costume contests at work. Being the house that "gives the good candy". Seeing little kids trying to grasp the concept of being dressed up weird and going door to door asking for treats! Decorating my house for fall. Carving Pumpkins and of course, FREE CANDY!!
