Jack & Josie wont always be young, youthful pups. They will actually get old some day . . .

I have been living in Irving for a year and I'm JUST now starting to get the "lay of the land". I can find my way to places and back home without getting lost! 1- makes me sad to leave now that I'm just getting it. 2- makes me glad I'm committed to Thailand for 2 years because it'll take that whole first year before I even start to feel "comfortable".

I spent $0.25 on Tuesday to buy some Chiclet Gum. It was pretty old and a little hard, but I was so excited that I put the whole handful in my mouth. Two days later my jaws are STILL sore from chewing that stuff! I'm not kidding- it hurts to eat!

I feel like the Lord has been giving a gift of wisdom to Jen and I though different missionaries. We've had the privilege of sitting down with 3 different girls who have lived or are currently living overseas. And they have been giving us priceless advise, thoughts, prayers & wisdom! What a gift those conversations have been!
