Well, I've spent all day repacking my bags. I think I'm finally ready.
My emotions about leaving are missed of course. This has been the longest I've been home since I moved to TX almost 4 years ago. It has been so great spending all of this time with my friends and family here.
But I'm also SO excited about what's next! I'm ready to stop talking about it and actually go do it! I'm looking forward to the long 13 hour flight. I love to watch the movies they show!! And they feed you a Ton!
My dogs are sleeping on the bed right beside me. I'm going to miss that a LOT! They are my little heaters at night. We have a little morning ritual that I'm going to miss.

Tomorrow I'll fly into Detroit, chill for 'bout 2 1/2 hours, then onto Dallas. I'll have all day Wednesday to chill and repack everything . . . Then Jen and I will fly out Thursday morning.

I can't believe it's really here! You've been talking about this for so long, and it always seemed really far in the future. I'm praying for both of you!
