So as we were trying to leave school the other day, we were stopped because of this random parade going down the street. it lasted for like 5 minutes! apparently it has something to do with asking their gods for rain
The lake
Jen and I are trying to do more exploring around our area. so we decided to see if we could find a lake that was near by. We have this Great map that someone gave us and we found the lake with almost no problems! Turns out it's inside a park that you have to pay to get into- 20 Baht each ($0.58). We spent a few hours there doing quite time and riding around. It was a nice relaxing treat!

Teacher
So there is a teacher here that became a christian after building relationships with some Teenmania people from a trip here. And we finally got to meet her this week! She is SUPER cute!! And she wants to hang out w/ Jen and I! So this Sunday we're going to spend time with her and try to get to know her more.
When we showed up to meet her- we didnt have an appointment and wasnt even sure if she'd have time to meet. But she was totally free right then and was even wearing a Pure Heart t-shirt!! God has such a sense of humor! :)
Also, they had this sign posted up in the school about things you're not allowed to do.
This one is my favorite- it's a kid on his hands and knees w/ a Very sharp knife! How random is that?!
After class that night, Jen and I went to grab some dinner at a place we like called The Shack. When we pulled up, we had this beautiful site staring at us! We had actually had a rough few days, and it was such a beautiful reminder to us that God IS in control and His promises are True and Never ending!
