Finally HOME!

so we've spent the last 12 days in Mae Hong Son and we are Finally home!!! Oh it feels so good to be home! MHS was awesome and we had such amazing ministry and service projects . . . so many doors were opened up and new relationships built . . . it really was awesome!
However, I'm sure you've noticed that the Blog has been suffering a bit because of our volunteers being here. But if you're following the Pure Heart International facebook page, you'd be all caught up! :) I have all our pictures on there and the updates are my little mini blogs. but i do have one personal story to share! so we're at the hotel and the rooms are up on a hill a bit. i see chris and jen in the truck at the bottom of the hill, headed to the rooms. so i decide to hitch a ride on the back. well i sit on the tailgate (which is in the up position) and just hold onto the bars above for extra support. we're going no faster than 5mph, but as soon as we start UP the hill, the tailgate FLYS open and i go FLYING with it!!! THANKFULLY i was holding onto those bars and somehow managed to keep holding on, though my legs and body were flying the other direction! Chris and Jen heard me scream and stopped the truck . . . finding me in the back white nuckled and with pulled arm muscles!!
we tried to reinact it for a picture . . . but imagion my body MUCH higher! :)
