Jen and I thought we had another blackout the other day. We had just gotten in from running, were nasty, sweaty, hot and HUNGRY!! So we started cooking some breakfast.
We had the skillet going, the oven going and the AC on. And JUST as we finished cooking our eggs and toast, the electricity went off!
We proceeded to eat our breakfast in our very hot and now fan-less room. We tried to see out the window if we were the only ones w/o electricity. But since it was daytime, it was hard to tell.
Realizing that we couldnt shower w/o electricity b/c our water comes to us by an electric pump, I decided to venture outside to see if our neighbors had any electricity.
As I headed down the stairs, I tried to flip a switch for light (out of habit) and noticed a main switch was down. I flipped it back on and off and heard Jen say- hey, we had it back for a second!!
Looks like we didnt lose our electricity after all! We just had too many things plugged in at one time and tripped the breaker!
