Travlin'

We are going to embark on some travels in the near future.
Through Jen's old job, in 3 weeks we'll be headed to Japan & the Philippines.

We'll be setting up the trips for the summer volunteers for next year and creating their schedule and figuring out all the details of their trip (food, lodging, ministry, transportation, etc.).

One of the places we'll be going to in the Philippines is this place:



It's called the Smokey Mountains Garbage Dump. I Google'd it and was so taken back by the intense images! We are going to need a lot of prayer for these trips!

These trips will be similar to the one we took to Cambodia last year. During that trip, God opened up opportunities for Jen and I to share His name and to also encourage some persecuted pastors. We are praying for those opportunities on these trips as well.

I'll be sure to post lots of pics and udpates along the way (assuming we have internet). But Facebook will probably be the best place for the most up-to-date updates. (Sorry Kimmy! I'll do my best to keep the blog updated too!).

We'll be doing a lot of traveling while in each country as well as going from cold weather Japan to hot weather Philippines back to back - so please be praying for our safety and health.

(this is gonna be us in Japan! Ha! Not really, but we are hoping to see this while we're there!)


We also need some super creativity for what to pack! We'll need winter clothes for Japan and summer clothes for Philippines. We'll also need to pack light since we'll be staying at a different place every few days and taking buses and trains and flights all over the place.

Yeah- we gonna need some Grace! Prayers welcomed :)
