Well we made it to Myrtle Beach!!!! Our rumps were quite sore and the dogs were ready to get out of the truck. Josie was in a half standing position, like crouching, and panted almost the entire way. Jack wanted to be in one of our laps almost the entire way. The drive wasn't that bad at all but we were tired and ready to stretch our legs.
We made it in last night and visited with Steph's parents and let our dogs get associated with their new home. Steph's parents have a dog (Oliver)

that has a lot of puppy energy so Jack and Oliver played all night until we went to bed. Jack is a little overweight so I think he might slim down with a playing buddy like Oliver. Josie, on the other hand, didn't really want anything to do with him so she stayed of course right by our side and she was soooo tired from half-standing and panting for 2 days. It's good that Steph will have 3 weeks here with them before she leaves. It is a little sad to be leaving them here - yes even I am sad to let them go. But Steph's parents have been gracious enough to keep them and love on them while we are gone. For some of you that don't know, leaving the dogs is Steph's hardest part of the whole journey. For me...my hard part...well it's not leaving the dogs although I am a little sad.
We are happy to be in Myrtle Beach, even though it's cold. Can't wait to see my friends later today! Peace Out! Jen
YEAH JEN!!! I'm SO thankful that you guys made it safe and sound to Myrtle Beach ... especially after such a long drive. You're in my prayers for some rest and fun while you're there! Love you!!! ---Laura
