Water Project in Mae Hong Son

We are so excited about this project! We had the great pleasure of partnering with the creators of IWMS (International Water Management Systems) to help provide free purified drinking water to a Kyan Longneck village in Mae Hong Son.
This village has no alternative to the drinking water that they have. It comes from the river and they get sick from drinking it- but it’s all they can get. About a year ago, the government put some chemicals in their tanks to help clean the water up. This lasted for a little while, but now it’s dirty again and they have no way of cleaning it.
Four of IWMS water experts recently joined us on a trip to Mae Hong Son, where we worked along side the village setting up new water tanks, training them on purifying their water using the CPU unit, and educating them on the importance of clean drinking water.
Pure Heart donated two 550-liter water tanks to this village, so they can now have a central area in the village where everyone can come and get purified drinking water. They were so excited and grateful for this gift that as soon as the training time was over, they immediately got working on getting the tanks hooked up to their water supply and building a platform for them.
To show their appreciation to us, the woman of the village preformed their tradition dancing for us. And then they gave the platform to us where we played games with the children, made salvation bracelets and even preformed some music of our own for them!
