Conference in Mae Hong Son

So we went to Mae Hong Son this past week to a conference we were invited to. It was an International conference to talk about a lot of different things like hill tribes, tourism, world heritage, and some other things. It was "interesting" to say the least. And we met some very "interesting" people.
Conversation of someone we met when we first got there:
Chris- "Hi! How are you?"
Person- "Oh, not so good"
Chris- "Oh no, really? What's wrong?"
Person- "Someone is trying to kill me"
Chris- puzzled and confused look
Person- "no really, there is a price on my head"
At this point I said to myself- and I'm going to the bathroom now . . .

And that was just the FIRST conversation we had with this individual. I'll leave the rest to your imagination, but just know that it got crazier from there!
