God's grace and your prayers

So last night we had a great experience of God's grace and your prayers!! We were driving to dinner to go with Anne and Joan. Anne was in her car, Joan was on our Mio, and Jen and I were on the Joker. (Joan used to live in Thailand a year ago for 5 years and speaks near perfect Thai! She's here visiting). So we get to a stoplight and I'm down shifting back into 1st, when the Joker just locks ups! It wont go into gear and even in neutral it wont budge! After fidgeting with it through 2 red/green lights, I try to push it to the side of the road, but the back tire is locked up and I cant move it. So Joan and I DRAG it to the side. As we're looking at it, totally confused, someone pulls up and when they take off their helmet, it was our friend "Oo"
from the church! So Joan explains to her whats wrong. So she said, oh- there is a mechanic right across the street here! So she runs across the traffic and goes and gets this mechanic! So Joan is there to translate, our friend knew there was a mechanic there AND all of this happened at a red light and not while we were driving!! So the mechanic comes and brings tools and starts working on it right then!
He got it working enough to drive it over to his shop and we follow. He takes the back wheel off and it turns out that the break pad is like totally broken!! He, of course, had the part- pulled it off the shelf, replaced the old one, tested and had it ready for me in less than 10 minutes!! How much did it cost? A whopping $2.64!!! YES- that is parts And labor!!!
God is SO good!
Had we been driving when it happened . . .
Had Joan not been there to translate . . .
Had our friend not stopped and told us about that mechanic . . .
Had we not broken down right at that light where he was . . .

God is so good and this just goes to show you that we are SO covered in prayer!!! So we just want to thank ALL of you who are praying for us!! Everyday on that bike out in this traffic I feel it and I know it! Thank you for keeping us safe!
