Beauty, Praise, Worship

I had the amazing opportunity to be taken on a retreat w/ my job last week. It was at a Beautiful ranch in Mineral Wells, TX. One of my favorite parts was waking up really early Friday morning, grabbing my flashlight, bible, journal and iPod and heading out to watch the sunrise. I finally settled on a cliff over hanging about a 200 foot drop. The sight was awe inspiring and just more than I could take in. I cant even put into words what it felt like to be in the middle of the Lord's creation and beauty and to just be reminded of Who He is. It was a MUCH needed reminder that God is in total control and we just need to Trust Him.

Here are a few pictures I took. They dont do it justice, but you can get an idea of how awesome and amazing it was!

Here you can see steam rising off of the river that was below. Then the blood red sun was coming up between the two mountains.

Its hard to see, but in the top left corner of this pic, where the cliff is, you can see someone sitting in a white sweatshirt. (click on the pic to make it bigger). I was trying to show how BIG it was there!
