1,864 Curves to go

Jen and I have to set out for Mae Hong Son today for our Visa paperwork. You may remember us mentioning this town in the past. This is where we did the clean water project in the Long Neck camp. It's also where we have a student home located.
This weekend, we'll also be having a Grand Opening of a new Student Home for boys. This has been a few years in the process, so it's very exciting to have it finally coming to a finish, or "start" rather.

So we'll be spending the next few days there. There is a great guest house that we love staying at there. It's very cheap, has AC and is walking distance from almost everything. There is also a coffee shop w/ internet two buildings down which we love to visit. The owner, Puuk, is so sweet and speaks perfect English!

We are hoping to steal away some personal time while we are there as well. We have some personal things we want to work on and some processing of some things. So we're excited about getting out of town and having a change of scenery to be able to help us in that.

So wish us luck on our 9+ hour bus ride through the steep and curvy mountains! It's certainly not my favorite road trip to take, but it's so beautiful once you are there.
